Stripes, Shoes, and Bags: Clover Dot Romper

Hello everyone!

How has your week been so far?
We are experiencing hot wave here, in New York area. It was above 90F today. If I'm not mistaken it was the first really hot day of this year.
Today, I'm sharing with you a very simple outfit that I wore last Sunday. It was my first experience with rompers and I really enjoyed wearing it.
I've seen rompers and jumpsuits everywhere: in magazines, stores, on fashion blogs. I even bought one from Mango two months ago but could not make myself to wear it. And then I found this romper and fell in love. Now, I need more.
This romper is very comfortable and lightweight, perfect for summer. It is easy to style and to wear. You can dress it down by adding flat sandals, snickers or dress it up by adding a blazer and heels. Also, it's very practical for windy Jersey City: looks like a mini dress but you don't risk to show too much.
 LOFT romper,
Zara sandals,
Zara messenger bag (also like this one from Zara)
Valentino sunglasses (old),
kate spade New York watch.

Stripes, Shoes, and Bags: Stripes are Back

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you had fantastic weekend and wish you a great week!

I wore this outfit last Saturday. When I was selecting an outfit that day, I realized that hadn't worn stripes for a while. I just had to fix it. I put on my favorite striped t-shirt from Gap, light-wash jeans, and, because it was chilly, added white blazer. This outfit is effortless and simple but, definitely, not boring because of the stripes.
I walked a lot that day, hence my slip-on snickers. I adore these shoes; they are so comfortable and yet stylish.
Gap t-shirt (old, similar here and here),
Zara blazer (less expensive option),
American Eagle Outfitters jeans (old, similar here),
Vince slip-on snickers (similar here),
Burberry sunglasses (old, similar here),
kate spade New York watch
and Forever 21 necklace (sold out, similar here).

Atlantic City, NJ: Casino Night

Happy Wednesday!

Hope you all are having a good week!

Today, I'm back with new travel post.
Last weekend, my husband and I went to Atlantic City to celebrate his birthday. We arrived to Atlantic City late Friday night (it's two-hour drive from Jersey City), had dinner with friends, spent night in casinos, and left the city after brunch on Saturday. It was really short trip and I didn't have time for taking pictures. However, I was able to take few photos from a hotel and on our way to and from the brunch.
We stayed in Bally's and our room was on the 45th floor. We had such a spectacular view! I'd love to wake up with view like this every morning. (Honestly, Atlantic City looks nicer from 45th floor.)
The most popular Atlantic City attraction (after casinos, of course) is the Atlantic City Boardwalk. If you watch Boardwalk Empire show, you might recognize it. The boardwalk was built in 1870 and once had length of 7 miles but was destroyed by hurricane in 1944. Today the boardwalk is 4 miles long.
Beach is an another popular Atlantic City attraction where people relax after long nights of gambling.
 That day I was wearing:
Zara linen t-shirt (old, similar here),
Zara denim shirt (old, similar here),
Zara shorts (old, similar here),
Zara sandals (sold out, like these gold sandals),
and Sophie Hulme handbag.

Sandy Hook, NJ: Openning of the Beach Season

Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a productive start of the week.

Two weeks ago, my husband and I decided to open beach season and went to the closest to our home beach - Sandy Hook beach. Today I want to share with you pictures from that trip.
One more reason (I think I've already mentioned few in my previous posts) why I love New York is its location. Within an hour drive, there is an ocean and mountains so we can enjoy summer on a beach (Jersey Shore, Long Island) and spend winter weekends on ski resorts (Upstate New York, Pennsylvania).

Memorial Day weekend is an official start of beach season in our area so we were not alone on the beach. Although it was hot outside, water was pretty cold but many people still enjoyed it.

It's a good idea to go to Sandy Hook early because it is a popular weekend destination among New Jersey and New York residents. It can be very crowded, and all of the parking lots may be full.
Sandy Hook beach is a nice place for relaxing on the sand, swimming, fishing, surfing, and kitesurfing. Also, there is a bike trail and a dog friendly beach on the bay side.
That day I was wearing:
Ann Taylor top (old, similar here),
H&M denim shorts,
Havaianas flip flops,
H&M braided belt (old, similar here),
and Burberry sunglasses.

Stripes, Shoes, and Bags: Boyfriend Dress Shirt

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope you all had incredible weekend and got ready to start new week and new month!
June is my favorite month. First, because Summer begins in June and, second, because my husband's and my birthdays are this month. But this post is not about me getting older, it's about me sharing with you an outfit I wore on Saturday.
That day, I had some errands to run and then went to watch "Godzilla". Hence, my outfit - when you are going to watch a long movie, you want to wear comfortable clothing (at least, I do).
I love my new baggy blue dress shirt that it's great for hot summer days! It's from Forever 21 and cost less than $20 (nothing can beat Forever 21 prices!). Usually, I don't shop there, don't like their stores, it's hard to find anything there. This time, I shopped online and was pleasantly surprised with quality and materials of the ordered stuff.
The shirt and these gold sandals are going to be my favorite pieces this Summer.
I was wearing: Forever 21 boyfriend dress shirt,
Zara skinny jeans,
Zara sandals (sold out, similar here),
Sophie Hulme bag,
Burberry sunglasses,
kate spade new york watch,
Forever 21 necklaces (pendant necklace and layered necklace) and BaubleBar bracelet (old).
